Taking payments with Stripe

Your players pay you directly, through your own Stripe account. TehkStore never holds your money, and takes no share of it. Stripe charges its normal card processing fees.

You must connect Stripe before you can publish your store.

Connecting Stripe

• Open Payments in the dashboard.
• Choose your Country. This cannot be changed later, so pick the country your business or bank account is in.
• Press Connect Stripe and complete Stripe's sign-up. Stripe asks for details about you and your bank account, so that it can pay you out.
• When you come back, the page should say Connected and ready to take payments.

If Stripe needs more

Sometimes Stripe asks for extra information, such as proof of identity. The Payments page then lists the Outstanding requirements. Press Finish onboarding to go back to Stripe and complete them. Until you do, Stripe may hold back payouts.

Currencies

The Payments page shows your Stripe currency (what Stripe pays you out in) and your Store currency (what your prices are shown in). You can change the store currency in Settings.

Taxes

Sales tax and VAT are yours to handle, as with any shop you run. Stripe has tools that can help.
