Commands (Minecraft)

On a Minecraft store, a package delivers by running console commands on your server. The TehkStore plugin picks them up and runs them. See Installing the Minecraft plugin.

Adding a command

In the package editor, press Add command and type the command without the leading slash, as you would in the server console. Use these placeholders:

  • `{player}`: the buyer's Minecraft username.
  • `{uuid}`: the buyer's Minecraft UUID.

For example: `lp user {player} parent set vip`

Which servers it runs on

Each command has Runs on. Tick the servers it should run on, or press Select all servers. If you run a network with a shared permissions database, give a rank on one server only. Kits or items usually go on every server where the player should get them.

Player must be online

Tick Player must be online for commands that need the player in the game, such as giving items. The command then waits until the player next joins that server. Leave it off for commands that work offline, such as ranks.

Subscription end commands

A recurring package also has When the subscription ends commands, which run when the subscription is cancelled or stops being paid. Use them to take the rank away, for example `lp user {player} parent remove vip`.

Tips

  • Test every command in your server console first, with a real player name.
  • If a command fails, you can fix it and retry it from the command queue.
