Terms of Service

TehkStore is software for running a web store for a Minecraft server. We provide the software. We are not a shop, we are not a payment processor, and we are not a party to anything you sell.

When a player buys from your store, the sale is between you and that player. Payments go through your own Stripe account, and the money is yours. We never hold it.

That means refunds, chargebacks, delivering what was bought, answering your customers, and any sales tax on those sales are all yours to handle. We charge you a subscription for the software and nothing else.

Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us at brendan@tehkllc.com if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Mojang sets commercial rules for Minecraft servers, including limits on selling things that affect gameplay. You confirm that your store follows them. If it does not, we may suspend it.

We are not Mojang and we do not speak for them. Keeping up with their rules is your job, not ours — but a store that breaks them puts this platform at risk as well as you, which is why it is a condition of using it.

Through TehkStore you may not sell:

• anything illegal where you or your buyer are;
• gambling or wagering — meaning anything where what a buyer might win can be exchanged for money or taken out of the game;
• accounts, credentials, or access that is not yours to sell;
• anything that breaks Mojang’s rules;
• anything that infringes somebody else’s rights.

Randomised items — crate keys and the like — are allowed, so long as what they contain stays in the game and cannot be cashed out, sold for money, or exchanged outside your server. Whether they are permitted where your buyers live is your responsibility: some countries treat them as gambling whatever they contain.

We do not review stores before they open. Finding out later that one of these applies is a reason to suspend it.

New stores get a thirty-day trial. After that a store needs a subscription — monthly or annual — to stay open to players.

If a payment fails, your store stays open while your card is retried, and closes once the retries end. You can cancel whenever you like; your store stays open until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund a period already served.

Prices can change. If they do, you will be told at least thirty days before it affects you, by email and on your dashboard.

We may suspend or close a store that breaks these terms. A suspended store is closed to players, but you keep your dashboard, your catalogue and your order records, and we will tell you why by email.

You can delete your store or your whole account at any time from your settings. Deleting an account closes any store you are the only member of; a store other people also belong to carries on without you.

Your store’s name, packages, descriptions and images stay yours. You give us permission to host and show them, which is what running the store requires, and nothing more.

We work to keep TehkStore running, but we do not promise it will never be down or never lose a beat. The software is provided as it is.

If we are liable to you for something, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it happened. We are not liable for lost sales, lost profits or lost data. Some of these limits may not apply where the law does not allow them.

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Carrying on using TehkStore after that means you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, and any dispute belongs in its courts.
