Creating packages
A package is something your players can buy: a rank, a kit, a reserved slot, a gift card. Packages live in categories, which become the sections of your store.
Categories
Open Catalogue. Press New category to add one. Each category can be Renamed, given its own Address (the end of its link), Moved inside another category or to the Top level, or Deleted.
Creating a package
Press New package, give it a Package name and choose its category. Then fill in the editor:
- Description: what the player gets.
- Perks, one per line: shown as a bullet list on the store.
- Price.
- Picture: press Upload. A square picture looks best.
Kind
- Normal - delivered in game by commands. The usual choice.
- Gift card - sells store credit, delivered by email. See Coupons and gift cards.
How it is sold
- One-off - paid for once.
- Recurring - renews until the player cancels. See Subscriptions.
Delivery
- Minecraft: add the commands the package runs. See Commands.
- WARDOGS: choose the server (or servers) the package gives a reserved slot on. Select all servers ticks them all. WARDOGS packages run no commands.
Publishing a package
A new package is a Draft - hidden from the storefront. Switch it to Published - visible to players when it's ready. Archive package takes it off sale and keeps its order history.
You'll see a warning if a package wouldn't deliver anything:
- "This package has no server, so buying it will not deliver anything." That's fine for a donation, but usually means you forgot the commands or the server.
- A recurring package can't be published until it has a server and at least one command.
- A WARDOGS package must have its server chosen before publishing.
If you delete a server, packages that only delivered on that server go back to draft, so nobody can buy something that can't arrive.
