Connecting a WARDOGS server

TehkStore talks to your server through its RCON connection. On xREALM, you'll find the RCON details on your server's overview page, under WARDOGS RCON (Endpoint and Password, each behind Reveal).

Connect it

• Open Servers and find Connect a WARDOGS server.
• Enter a Name (your players see it), the RCON URL (the endpoint) and the RCON password.
• Press Test connection to check, then Connect server.

The server's card then shows how many reserved slots are used, for example 3 of 20 reserved slots used.

Important: wrong passwords

WARDOGS servers lock out an address after a few wrong passwords in a row. So if TehkStore's password is refused once, TehkStore stops using that server and emails you, instead of trying again. Deliveries, announcements and admin actions to it all wait until you fix it.

To fix it, copy the current password from your host and press Replace password on the server's card. If you change your RCON password on your host, update it here too.

Good to know

• You may see the SteamID `76561197960265728` in your server's reserved list. That's a harmless placeholder TehkStore uses to work around a WARDOGS bug with empty lists. Please leave it.
• Reserved slots you added yourself, outside TehkStore, are left alone.
• Deleting a server sends packages that only covered that server back to draft.
